WHAT TO PREPARE
For Individual Notary Services
Before your notary appointment, make sure you have all documents ready and fully completed — except for your signature. Notaries are required by law to witness you sign the document, so please do not sign anything ahead of time. Review each page carefully to ensure there are no blank spaces or missing information that could delay the process. If you’re unsure about how a document should be filled out, contact the document issuer or your attorney for guidance prior to your appointment.
You’ll also need to bring a valid, government-issued photo ID to verify your identity. Accepted forms of identification typically include a driver’s license, state ID card, passport, or military ID. Make sure your ID is current and not expired, as notaries are legally required to confirm that your identification is valid. If a witness is required for your document, please arrange for them to be present at the time of notarization, and ensure they also bring valid identification.
Lastly, have payment and contact information ready to complete your session smoothly. If you’re scheduling a mobile or online notarization, confirm your appointment details, the location (or login link), and any required fees ahead of time. Preparing these items in advance helps us serve you quickly and efficiently, ensuring your notarization is completed correctly the first time.
